Hi to all!
This is a small tribute to a great spiritual personality. I started to work on him during the Blend Shapes in Mudbox Workshop by Bryan Silva.
Base mesh modeled in Modo, rendered in Lightwave3D.

It's interesting that probably the two best mudbox artists I've seen both render in Lightwave 3D... a program considered 'low-end' nowadays as I understand it. (correct me if I'm wrong).
The shape blend looks good, it got me to thinking though, does anyone have any links to articles discussing the new CGI technology developed and used (if any) in Avatar?
Again, magnificent work!
