I'd expect something more along the lines of, "The couch is too long."

But I agree, it was too dark, and I also cut corners on the glass material.

Last, the reason I said I was a high-school student is because Oldwars3d likes to tell his computer stats and his grade with every project, and so does RedCobra. I find it very annoying, so I poked fun.

I certainly don't feel I need to study lighting MUCH. I will agree that this scene isn't my best work.

Not sure why you post that you're a highschool student, but this piece of work needs help. Looks far too dark. Studying lighting techniques further.
