| That was awesome. You get a real sense of energy and speed as he is being flung through time. The animation was excellent.

| all right. but don't laugh... major in espanol and a minor in IT, but i got a piddly diddly job as a Technical Service specialist for a cell phone company.. i.e. Tech Team, answering general cell phone tech questions, and monitor and do troubleshooting for our network at its lowest level, i.e. cust calls in to complain of bad service in area x, i file trouble ticket to have engineering lookin into issue.. i only get paid an hour.. is that good or not? again please no laughter.. but now you see why i hunger for something else... IT/tech has always been a thing of mine.. but when i discovered this world of 3d modeling, its been something I always wanted to do (make or work on films or shorts like Surf's Up or anthing anime)but never quite KNEW how to do it. now that I discovered Maya and 3d Max i feel I have reality based approach to it now.. please do reply and let me know what u think, hopefully its not too much otherwise u can email me at phabeon@hotmail.com THANKS!!

| I'm sayin that products like Maya have endless possibilities, and you won't explore them all very quickly. If you follow tutorials and Maya help, you could get into it fairly quick, but it won't be easy. Ask anyone whos been using Maya for a long time, and they will say they still learn something new every day. I'm not trying to discourage you at all, but maybe you should give it a try on Maya PLE, it's free, and almost the same as the full version. Just curious, what is your carrer right now?

| Longboarder, everything has a learning curve right? so what makes it so difficult in your opinion? i know it can't be too easy otherwise the whole world would be doing it right. but uh yeah feel free to share your thoughts and such on the matter, this is something I have been considering and even have thought of quittin my career to focus on this.. so any REAL world input would be greatly valued!! thanks player! oNe
