Independent animator and VFX artist Alexei Petrov hails from the Russian Federation, presenting us with this beautiful and touching animated short entitled "The Cags". A reflection of his view on the modern-day society, the cogs personify us all as being slaves to a singular system.

Question: was the texture ( ink ) on the paper created dynamically? Is there a script for this wonderful technique?
And one further comment . . . . . WOW !!! What a beautiful imagination, and "pointed" use of the medium.
