    Description:
Hi, my name is Richard and this is the demo Reel I produced during my last 6 month of school at Vancouver Film School. I hope everybody will enjoy it! The 3D was made in Maya 7.0 and rendered in Maya 8.0, much powerful and best integrated in terms of Mental Ray rendering. The Canvas paint effect was made primarily through blend shapes and a noise deformer plug-in. Cheers.

I really liked this film. The way you zoomed in made me curious, I wanted to see the Painter. And when you got in close and I saw it was a statue doing the painting it was a good surprise. Really nice.

Too bad he got covered in the end, just like real life.

Nice moodsetting, but it lacks a bit of purpose; you have an intro, a main event being that the painting swallows the painter but there is no result/conclusion.
The painting itself doesn't match the setting it's to abstract and there are a lot of jaggies(jagged edges)
