Step 1.
The following is a short explanation on how to create your portfolio within the Autodesk Area website. The first thing we need to do is post images. A Portfolio should contain
images that reflect your ability and quality of work. If you wish to post only one image, we recommend that you use the Image Gallery until you have a collection of images to
put together as a Portfolio.
When ready, go to the Showcase Homepage and click on the button on the left side on "Image" (img.1). This action will take you to the Image Submit Form.
Follow all steps there. Please fill in all fields to provide the most accurate information about your image. This will give AREA members a better idea as to how your image
was made.

Step 2.
After a successful upload, go to your Personal Profile to attach the newly uploaded image to your portfolio. You'll find the link to your Profile at the top header of the AREA
website (img.2).

Step 3.
In your Personal Profile, select the My Images tab. If you're checking for the image that was just submitted, you will only see an image thumbnail with a message stating your
image is awaiting approval. Our Admin must first approve your image (the reason is for security -- to catch improper submits like spam).
After Admin approval, you will see the image detail (img.3).

Step 4.
Now that you know the first of your images is created in the system, you can go to create a Portfolio.
In your Personal Profile section next to the My Images tab, you'll find My Portfolio, go there and fill in your Portfolio name. Upload two thumbnails that will best
represent your Portfolio on the Showcase homepage and Showcase list
When you have finished with filling out the fields and uploading the images, don’t forget to hit the Update button at the bottom of the My Portfolio page to submit your
changes!
Now we can go back to the My Images tab and click on the Portfolio checkbox (img. 3). It's up to you if you want to showcase your image in Image gallery or just restrict the
image to your Portfolio. You can also select both options - Image Gallery and Portfolio. The benefit of having your images in the Image Gallery is that you'll get responses
and ratings only for that image. With Portfolio, all comments and ratings are attached to your Portfolio as a whole. When you have finished with those options, don’t forget
to hit the Update button again to save the changes you just made.
Now when you go back to My Portfolio tab, you should see at the bottom of the page a list of thumbnails that are attached to your portfolio. If you are satisfied with what
you see, click on the Portfolio checkbox to make it active and hit the Update button. Now your Portfolio is on-line.
