The Lake House - an exploration
Personal project done after work. Finally got around to rendering it.
Based on a concept from Pierre Demet.
This is the redo of a car that were modeled by myself in 1999!
My almost 20 years old 'son' was wraped in metalic green film, also got new wheels with semi-slick tires, a huge rear diffuser, 4 elements rear wing with DRS (was a fixed 3 one), lightweight trunk spoiler, V-16 8,0 liter badge, composite mufflers, 4" widebody kit, double 4" refuelling probes and so one...
The goal is the same as 20 years ago when todays viral videos were dreams only possible in multimilionaire Hollywood productions; make the most extreme drift race car ever done that at the same time can do the fastest lap times with tons of downforce and lot of turbulence aftewards to trick who dares to get closer.
I hope every one enjoy it.

Sculpted with Zbrush, used Texturing.xyz detail textures for the skin and iris. Applied them using Mari projection and adjusted after applying in Zbrush. For texturing the skin I used some textures ive found from Google actually, after a lot of tweaks and paint overs I have got a result that I am happy with. Rendered with Maya and Arnold. Hairs done with Xgen. I hope you like and would not hesitate to leave comments below!
This was my old project, the sculpt was done in 2016 and I did some texturing but had to give up due to laziness..hehe

The goal was to improve my texturing and look development work on a realistic asset. For that I chose a relatively small asset to be able to focus on the details and try to match as much as possible to the references. I also decided to use Arnold in order to improve myself on an other render engine.
The 2 close up was rendered using the Workshop Look Development scene from Jahirul Amin that I used a lot for this project !
