FBX Review  is now on iOS and Mac OS X!

We’re off to a great start on the Games Team this year. We’ve released the 2015 version of Maya LT, we put Maya LT on Steam, and I’m happy to announce that FBX Review is now available for iPhones, iPads, and Mac OS X.

If you haven’t heard of it, FBX Review is our free tool for reviewing 3D models and playing back animations. You can cycle through lighting, shading modes, cameras, and animation takes with a really intuitive touch-based UI.

We’ve had a lot of people requesting better review tools and more mobile apps, so we’ve been pushing hard to port FBX Review over to iOS and OS X. FBX Review just makes everything about the asset review process far easier and I think it will really be a game changer for creative teams, art directors, and anybody who wants an easier way to look at their 3D content.

If you want to try FBX Review, you can get it for Windows 7 , Windows 8, iPhones and iPads running iOS 7.0+, and Mac OS X .

It’s another product that my team has worked hard to create, and another product that was made based on community feedback. If you want to give us some feedback on FBX Review, please visit our forums and let us know what’s working and what isn’t working.

FBX Review is still available on Windows 7 and Windows 8 as a standalone piece of software for doing asset reviews,
