We're thrilled to be teaming up with the Rookies again this year!

The 2019 edition of the contest for young artists is officially open for submission.


What are The Rookie Awards?

Once again, Autodesk is proud to sponsor The Rookie Awards, an annual contest for young creatives around the world in film, animation, games, virtual reality, motion graphics, and 3D visualization.

The Rookies is a mentoring platform offering young aspiring artists a “stamp of approval” as they transition from novice to the early stages of their professional career, enabling them to showcase their most impressive work and receive valuable feedback from industry heavyweights. For studios and recruiters, The Rookies is the place to find outstanding emerging talent.

Am I eligible to enter?

To be eligible to enter you must be an amateur artist, with less than 1 year of professional experience.


How do I submit my work?

Head to The Rookies website between the submission window of March 7th - May 31st, 2019 and follow the entry guidelines shown here.

Be sure to read the Rookie Awards 2019 Rules before submitting your work!


Mark your calendars!

March 7th – Submissions Open
May 31st – Submissions Close
June 30th – Finalists Announced
July 16th – Winners Announced

Dates mentioned are at 11:59 pm GMT on the date in question
