Motion is simply movement over time, but in 3D animation there can be many ways of accomplishing this. While Autodesk® Maya® offers the most comprehensive, off the shelf, toolset for creating and editing complex motion, that power can sometimes seem complex in and of itself.
Join us as Steven Roselle, Sr. Maya Technical Specialist at Autodesk, explores and in turn demystifies a range of tools and workflows for creating and editing different types of motion in Autodesk® Maya®. Topics will include:
- General animation editing tools such as the Graph Editor, Time Editor and Camera Sequencer
- The Motion Graphics Toolset including MASH instancing and Type animation
- Advanced dynamic systems such as Nucleus nCloth, Bifrost fluids and Bullet physics
You will gain a broad understanding of these various tools in Maya, and how they can be used together to create sophisticated motion graphics and effects.
