Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly, after it's loaded in Plug-in Manager it didn't show up no presence on the shelf, no in menu box. Could someone help me to fix this problem? I would be very grateful for any help! Best regards

Ive installed and uninstalled Bonus Tools2012 about ten times now and they wont load from the plugins manager, they are all listed there but error appears in the script editor every time i try and load any of them. Ive installed them in C:/Users/USER/Documents/Maya/2012/plug-ins as they wouldnt show up at all when installed in the set ups default directory. Thanks.

I've installed Bonus Tools for Maya 2012 run on Windows 8, but it didn't apear. is there any command to activate it??
I've installed Bonus Tools for Maya 2012 run on Windows 7 64bit, but it didn't apear on menu bar. How can I fix that?
@Nguyen: once you successfully install the tools go to Window -> Settings/Preferences -> Plug-in Manager and enable the tools you need for your work (you can check Autoload for the tool to load automatically when Maya restarts). Bonus tools 2013 do not work on Maya 2012 so you need to match the version numbers. Hope this helps

If you carry your userSetup.mel around to different facilities or if you're copying your userSetup.mel into each new install of Maya.... If the "bonusToolsMenu;" command is in your userSetup.mel, and if BonusTools isn't installed, every line after that "bonusToolsMenu;" command will never execute. The error will throw you out of the userSetup script. To avoid this, change the line that reads "bonusToolsMenu;" to the following: if ( exists( "bonusToolsMenu") ){ bonusToolsMenu; } I got tired of my userSetup getting hosed every time I switched workstations that didn't have bonusTools installed. Also, the older bonusToolsMenu command didn't properly catch the exception so it didn't work for me either.

These should be more visible for everyone, just rememberd to check, thanks!

I'm kind of unfamiliar in this area. I thought what I was suppose to do is unzip the folder, and extract it to maya scripts. Apparently, I'm definitely doing something wrong. Please let me know as soon as possible the steps. Thank you.
Yup. Just deleted a couple userSetup.mel files and the menu pops up.
very thanks
Thanks Boon, I'll give it a try.
@aysegul: I had the same problem because I was getting errors from some custom script or plugins I was loading (that had been copied but not updated from my previous version of Maya). When I deleted my old userSetup.mel from my Maya 2012 folder and reloaded Maya, the BonusTools menu appeared.

Hi, I am trying to set up the Bonus Tools. Everything seems fine but I do not have a drop down menu. Do you have any idea, why would that be. Thanks...

Thanks "natsukir" and "zyjzbo" !! But, as you can probably guess - my advid request to put the MULTILISTER back into MAYA . . . . IT STILL BEING IGNORED !!! And I STILL have NOT received a response as to why the MULTILISTER is not there anymore !!! This is IGNORANT.
I see tools are latest versions - I notice the apps, plugins and tools are 64 bit (unsure?) - but are for the latest versions. I was wondering if one can install these tools and plugins in a earlier version of the application?, on a 64 bit OS and CPU,,,,,,, and not have any grief from trying. If possible, what can and what can't be installed without wanking the application (don't want to reinstall if things go wrong) I would appreciate for anyone that knows, to give a quick rundown on the details - perhaps a reply would be of use to the community as I'm sure having good tools and plugins is great.

checking out the new features!!

I wish that Autodesk MAYA programmers would PLEASE bring the MULTILISTER back !!! I have asked a million times; by phone, E-mail and carrier pigeon - AND MY PLEA JUST KEEPS GETTING I G N O R E D. I am really sick of the DISMISSIVE way that Autodesk handles FEATURE REQUESTS. Would it really kill ya to re-incorporate MULTILISTER back into MAYA 2012. You already have the code for it. OR, would it really kill ya to at least PUBLISH AN EXPLANATION (rather than just to ignore YOUR paying customers.) Who pays you salary? We do !!!
