CARONTE explains the story of Debbie, a teenage girl whose only concern is herself, social media, cellphone and friends. She is rude with her own family, specially with her little brother. But after a dramatic car accident, she starts to regret about the way she behaved with them.
Unexpectedly, Debbie's story connects with Arsys's, an experienced military and space fighter pilot who tries to survive a huge space battle which takes place on other time...another galaxy....another universe.
CARONTE is an amazing journey through the stars, nebulas and other worlds. It´s a furious space chase. Not only about alien battles, but about love, fear... an inner battle... a catharsis.

Personal project, wanted to learn some Xgen and Arnold better. As usual it took a lot longer then I anticipated but it was a lot of fun and learned loads!
Xgen for hair, rendered in Arnold. Skin is almost entirely procedural in Arnold, alot of noise nodes blended with some masks. Hair is melanin based with some masks and simple color textures. The sculpt isnt really anything special, wanted to focus on something other then regular old modeling for a while.
Want to thank Darko Pracic ( https://www.artstation.com/darpra123 ) for some really invaluable feedback, from day one he has really pushed me and gave some really awesome comments all along the way. And thanks to Robert Berg ( https://www.artstation.com/pixelgoat) and my girlfriend for pushing and inspiring me!

I love B&W photography and wanted to try a different approach. Instead of
desaturating the output in post, I directly worked with greyscale textures so I have
been able to play with the lighting and shaders accordingly and get the result as a
straightforward render without any post-work.
We bring you the hero shot of a tall, dark and handsome space which could have become the next selfie material somewhere in Vanak, Tehran.
We believe it is essential that the strongest attribute of each design becomes the spine of the visual story we eventually decide to tell.
For this piece we thought of the void of the vertical atrium as the generator of a mysterious pulling force around which all temptations would unfold. The void becomes a physical body and the main actor in this scene.
A couple of other views were created for a different design option of the same project, also shown below.
The images were produced for our friends at Hadi Teherani Architects, with the help of 3dsmax, vray and ps.

Victor is based on the same character from a french TV series Les Revenants (season 2). When I started this project I decided to use Arnold this time for rendering which was completely new to me. I also wanted to explore other ways to simulate the complexity of the human eye and which could work at different distances/lighting scenarios. Ultimately though and for the final look, I wanted to render Victor in a simple studio lighting. As I worked , on and off for quite sometime actually, I ended up rendering quite a bit more than originally planned testing out both regular lights (mainly area lights to simulate the typical studio lighting setups) and different IBLs.
