I graduated from Ankara Gazi University. In the department I studied at that time (interior and furniture design) there were no courses for visualization, but I didn't see that as an obstacle. I also did not take any private lessons for visualization - I learned through my own efforts. I started looking for courses and spent a lot of time experimenting and searching for resources. I can say that I became my own teacher. It wasn't easy for me, but I did it.
Today, I work as a Project and Design Manager in a furniture company.
When I was still in school in 2005, I decided to model a car to improve my modeling techniques. I found and modeled the blueprints of the Ford Focus car. Initially, everything was going well, but while modeling, I realized that the car looked like a Peugeot brand rather than a Ford. At this stage, I realized that I wasn't where I needed to be, and begin putting more hours of practice in. I was able to model the vehicle I wanted in 2006.
I have many works, but “Qatar Calm Street” Project, which I enjoyed working on, has a special place for me.
There were teachers who helped me in the university, but the person who really made me love this profession was the person who provided me with morale and motivation – Mr. Halil Yavuz Dur. When I thought I wasn't capable, he believed in me and had no doubt that I would succeed - this gave me extraordinary motivation. I would like to thank him again.
I'm a designer highly influenced by geographies; the target audience, customer profile and the story I want to tell are very important. I tell stories with projects and this becomes even more different and enjoyable in international geographies. I meet a whole new culture and examine the needs, and then I seek to create a unique design. Apart from that, there are many different items that I have been inspired by. Since I'm constantly trying to create something different, learning never ends. I am inspired by travels, art and different ideas, and I try to follow them constantly.
Generally, I spend time on Pinterest and Behance for ideas and inspiration. I am also trying to participate in domestic and international fairs related to my field.
I aim to improve myself in time and become a globally-recognized name in the field of design.
3ds Max is a great program; It's like a vast ocean, and my learning process is always ongoing. Advanced plug-in support and its ease of use is a great advantage for users. It's fun to work with, and it makes me happy. When I first started, I would ask myself, “How did they think of all these things?” I'm still asking myself this.
Since I design furniture, the modeling phase starts and ends with editable poly. I also use Topology a lot for wall panels. I like modeling small and practical objects and preparing short animations for them in times of boredom.
I have always been one to never give up on their dreams- I planned and worked hard to implement them, and I turned them into a reality one by one. I'm trying to make other dreams come true, and this sector gives me that opportunity, and I love it.
The constantly expanding technology and material opportunities increase the options available to the designer. In the coming years, the design visualization industry will continue to grow rapidly under the influence of ever-evolving technology. Of course, the designers in the sector need to follow the technology closely and keep up with this growth rate.
