Bifrost 2.1 for Maya is a powerful visual programming environment that enables artists, TDs, and programmers to build custom functions and simulations. To demonstrate the power of visual programming in Bifrost, we will jointly program a function that examines whether and where geometries touch or intersect.
This hands-on session is for artists who want to take their first steps in visual programming. No basic knowledge is expected and the mathematical basics will be explained in an easy to understand way. All that is required to prepare for the session is to watch this short 20-minute video introducing the way Bifrost works: https://youtu.be/tRCe7-HAs5I
