Learn how to create muscles for characters using regular max bones. Learn to use the squash & stretch property of the max bones in order to create the proper deformations of muscles so that you can skin to those muscles in a character rig.

ah . well I must really thank you about this tutorial, since I´m a modeler turnin´into riggin´ I always had the idea of modeling a muscle first and then put a bone into it. Now i realized that bones give me muscles. thanx it really helped me

this is realy cool, but i cant figure out how to get my characters skin to deform around the Muscle. Does any body know how to do that?

very nie tutorial. Cananyone help me please. If I want to make a realistic biceps bulge do I have to add more then one bone from primitives objects like sphere and linked it to the related bones Many thanks Peter
