Recorded in: Autodesk Flame 2020.1 Update

In Flame 2020, you were given a method to add your own custom menu actions to the context menus in Flame.

This allowed you to automate a variety of tasks through a single-click via a context menu.

As an improvement on top of this, with the Flame 2020.1 update, we have created an on-line repository that will contain Custom Menu Actions written by Autodesk as well as any other Custom Menu Actions that have been shared to the repository by the wider Flame community.

This should hopefully make it easier to add scripts into Flame from an external on-line source and you can access the on-line GitHub repository directly from the Flame products without ever leaving the applications.

We'll cover the workflow as well as the procedure to setup your Flame product with Github.

If you wish to follow along, you can download the 30-day Flame trial or if you are in education, you can sign up for a free 3-year license.
